In recent years, waterlogging disasters occur frequently in Chinese cities, causing serious casualties and economic losses, which seriously threatens the safety of cities. Data show that from 2015 to 2018, the average annual number of flooded or waterlogged cities in China accounted for about 1/5 of the number of Chinese cities; People's lives and property also suffered serious losses, according to incomplete statistics, as of the first half of 2021, the number of people killed and missing due to flood disasters in China reached 26, causing economic losses of 13.5 billion yuan. On the one hand, we need to actively construct and manage drainage facilities; On the other hand, the establishment of urban flood control and drainage monitoring and early warning system. It can not only provide management departments with real-time information on the water level of urban rivers and roads, but also provide technical and data support for urban flood control management. Based on technologies such as the Internet of Things and edge computing, the pumping station remote monitoring system combines local self-control with big data remote monitoring platform to provide solutions for urban flood disaster monitoring, waterlogging early warning and management.
